In 2017 we’re looking to the future…What, for instance, happens when a global orphan drug biopharma goes into Korea, India and Brazil – places where generics is king? Or how commercially acceptable is an even-higher priced, potentially one-time treatment gene therapy? Is the regulatory and reimbursement pathway more or less the same as other orphan drugs?
