Always wanted to know more about FAIR data*, but were afraid to ask? Are you curious why Nature Genetics, IRDiRC, EU infrastructures, NIH and the G7 endorse FAIR principles?, Do you want to be the first among peers with data skills that will be essential for any research team?
We are organising a full week of top-class lectures and hands-on sessions in the course ‘Managing and Integrating Life Science Information (5th edition): Approaches using Linked Data and Semantics’, 22nd – 29th January 2018 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. If you are a bioinformatician with a strong interest in data integration, or you would like to bring out ‘your inner geek’ to learn powerful techniques for using data across multiple, heterogeneous sources, please come to beautiful Amsterdam in January.
The course is coordinated by Katy Wolstencroft (bioinformatician, Leiden Institute for Advanced Computer Science), and Marco Roos (bioinformatican, Leiden University Medical Center and RD-Connect) for the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (BioSB) research school.
