Sample Catalogue

The Sample Catalogue lets the researchers browse sample collections or even individual samples stored in rare disease biobanks and provides information about the available biomaterials, such as primary cells, tissue, DNA, serum, RNA, cell lines and others.

The Sample Catalogue contains essential information and links to the biobanks where the sample is located to facilitate requesting the samples. A researcher can filter on the availability of genotype information, availability of samples from healthy relatives, or longitudinal samples to find the most relevant samples for research. Such analysis allows, among others, biomarker studies to find new treatments and analyse disease progression.
