WAVe is a centralized portal for human variome research. It offers direct and programmatic access to multiple locus-specific databases, with the integration of genetic variation datasets and enrichment with relevant information. Genetic variation data are collected from over 4000 Locus-Specific Data Bases and enriched with more than 500 thousand pointers to relevant resources. The LiveView features enables accessing all collected and connected content without leaving WAVe, providing an in-context research experience. WAVe also features an application program interface (API), where all data is available in XML format for inclusion in any application.
